Very important note – Those who are a part of Developer Preview program should go to the ‘Preview for Developers’ app & un-tick the enrollment option. Post which you should restart the device .. thereafter go to settings and check for updates.

In a news of the day, Microsoft has started rolling the ‘Lumia Denim‘ update in China. Unlike a couple of devices, Lumia Denim is effectively rolling-out to Lumia 520/525/526/625/720/720T/1320 in China and that’s quite a lot of devices to start with.
This might very well be a test launch of the update, the way it happened with Lumia Cyan which initially began rolling out to Lumia 625 and Lumia 925 devices only & that too in specific regions at start.
All in all it’s a great start for a great update.

Yes, I know many of you guys are waiting desperately for Lumia Denim to roll-out especially those who are not a part of Developer Preview program.

Microsoft earlier revealed of Lumia Denim to start rolling to select few Lumia devices from December 14 with roll-out then extending to more Lumia devices in succeeding months.
In line with that schedule Frence Carrier SFR has released a time table of Lumia Denim roll out which looks something as below.
All about the upcoming ‘Lumia Denim’ update from Microsoft
Lumia Denim update (which earlier leaked as Lumia Desbian Red) was officially announced at Microsoft’s MoreLumia event in Berlin. Lumia Denim is the successor update to Lumia Cyan which is currently rolling to many Lumia devices world-wide.
Lumia Denim is a combination of OS and firmware, the OS here will be Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 coupled with new experiences and improvements associated with the firmware.
