(Update) ‘Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview’ will go live this April 10th (Thursday)

Update – The info around now points at 14th April as the new release date (which of course can change too). Microsoft at the Build event did make it official that the update would go live to Developers in first part of April so 14th April sounds quite credible.

We have heard about so many dates for WP8.1 Developer Preview release and why not, speculations were bound to happen considering that it is one heck of an update and has turned everyone excited.

Plex gets ‘Plex Sync’ in latest update, Foursquare gets an update too !

Plex is a hugely popular media service which allows you to stream your pics, videos, music, movies via the Plex Media Server on to your Windows Phone device. The app has now got a significant update which adds the much needed ‘Plex Sync’, which allows the Plex Pass users to synchronize videos, photos & music for offline playback.

Video – First look at Windows Phone 8.1 on Nokia Lumia 630

We are very close to the launch of Windows Phone 8.1 and Nokia has also announced their presence at Build Conference with #moreLumia hashtag which definitely means new Lumia devices and much more.

Two Lumia devices are rumored to get announced at this years Build conference in the form of Lumia 630 and Lumia 930. A good amount of stuff has already leaked about Lumia 630 but what we have here is the first video of Windows Phone 8.1 running on none other than Lumia 630.

The video gives you a good look at the upcoming Lumia 630 device. You also get to see ‘Notification Center’, ‘Quick access settings’ and the new ‘Windows Phone Store’.

Lumia Amber –> Lumia Black –> Lumia C ?

Well everybody’s expecting the above logic to be right. If that would happen or not ? .. we will have to wait. But Lumia 630 which recently leaked in China is carrying a pretty firmware name from Nokia ‘Lumia Cherry Blossom Pink’.

Nokia Lumia 630 specs & real life images (comes with Windows Phone 8.1 out of box)

Nokia has officially announced its presence at Build Conference this April and one obvious thing expected is new Lumia devices. Two devices are making strong rounds of release, first being Lumia 630 and second Lumia 930.

We have seen press renders of Lumia 630 leak before with probable specs but now just ahead of the expected announcement, more leaks in the form of real life images and specs have come to the fore.

‘Angry Birds Go’ for Windows Phone gets ‘Sub Zero’ episode in latest update

Rovio’s latest update to ‘Angry Birds Go’ which debuted on iOS and Android a couple of days back, is now rolling out to Windows Phone bringing in Eight new carts and a winter theme in the form of an update referred to as ‘Sub Zero’. The carts are unique and Rovio has also introduced a new daily reward system where users can benefit of time-limited events.

Angry Birds Go unlike the original Angry Birds game is a kart-racing game and has its strong fan base.
