App – New version of ‘Whatsapp’ goes live for both WP7 & WP8 !
Finally a relief for many.
‘Whatsapp team’ has finally released the newest version of its app, bumping it to version 2.9.2. Though this might not be the best of the update but definitely things are now way better than before.

In windows phone audio/video cannot be accessed by what’sapp.

This is absolutely not fair tht wp is not supporting sending songs through watsapp.., how can u do tht after all when all the phones hav this facility why not wp?. People who own other phone laugh whn hearing this and iam very disappointed… Plz nokia has that standard so keep it up.. Plz work something on this to the earliest… Its a sincere request

Yeah still restricted .. there is a new version coming soon though however audio & video sharing might take some time.

I cannot download it, It tells me this application is not available for your device. and if I look at more info it tells me that the software on my phone needs to be updated, or the application is exclusive to a different mobile provider or the app is not available in your region!!!!!! FRUSTRATING!!!!!

That’s a little bit of a catching up to other platforms.
Still taking “ages” to load up compares to other platforms.

Yeah I agree. Loading still takes time & it still uses the same Audio API. But at-least it has become a bit feature rich than before. Probably we might see Whatsapp team bringing performance improvements in the next update.
Whatever the next update may be .. one thing that needs to get addressed is the Loading time as you said.
